The UNC Conference on Race, Class, Gender, and Ethnicity was founded in 1996 by a group of law students interested in creating an academic forum in which to discuss developments in the law that raise social justice concerns. The conference is an annual academic event, drawing scholars and activists from across the state and the nation to address issues of race, class, gender and ethnicity in the law.
