August 20, 2020 - Dr Hassan Tetteh serves as the Health Mission Chief for Warfighter Health at the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) in the Department of Defense (DoD). Dr Tetteh will be speaking on delivering Cognitive Automation capabilities Enterprise-Wide at the JAIC to enable an Artificial Intelligence policy environment through cloud infrastructure.

Dr. Tetteh highlighted important aspects of strategic communication, including uninterrupted listening during communication between patients and providers. When engaged in active listening, responsiveness between patient and provider increases, leading to better health outcomes. Similarly, satisfaction rates for health centers can increase among patient, faculty, staff, and student populations when utilizing active listening tools and other techniques such as those demonstrated during Dr. Tetteh’s presentation.
