Stephanie (Crayton) Mahin moderated the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 broadcasts of the Annual Summer Public Health Research Videoconference on Minority Health produced by the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health from Rosenau Hall (2004), the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History (2005-2007), and the Tate-Turner-Kuralt building of the School of Social Work (2008).

Congratulations to Stephanie Mahin, UNC Health Care's former media relations and broadcast manager, and producer/videographer Nathan Clendenin and his team. Stephanie and Nathan won an Emmy Award for their "real doctors, real people" video on Nobel Laureate Dr. Oliver Smithies and his interest in flying!
Stephanie was the creator and executive producer, and Nathan was videographer of the "real doctors/real people" and "RN: Real Nurses" video series. Before leaving to pursue her PhD at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC, Stephanie and Nathan launched "Real Medicine, Real People," the UNC Health Care system-wide video series.
