Wendy Schoenbach Reasenberg is the eldest of the three children. When Manny died, she was only eleven years old. He became a shadow, a collection of memories, a few odd mementos, a photograph on the wall of him smoking. People who knew Manny told Wendy that he was a great man, a great doctor and famous but no one elaborated. Determined to understand and learn about his life, she researched his papers and newspaper articles, combining them with her memories of her mother’s stories. She earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with a degree in accounting and a Masters of Taxation from Bentley University. Wendy began in the design field and holds a degree in fine arts from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and a Masters Degree in Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute. For many years, she studied memoir writing at Lexington Adult Education classes and in private sessions. Today, she is the major writer for SCDWiki.net which assists persons following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet for GI diseases.She is married to Robert Reasenberg, a physicist. They have a daughter, Suzanne and live in Lexington, Massachusetts.
