Wendy Schoenbach Reasenberg earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with a degree in accounting and a Master's of Taxation from Bentley University. For many years she practiced as an accountant specializing in taxation, in Lexington, Burlington, Newton, and Needham, MA. Wendy began in the design field and holds a degree in fine arts from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and a Master's Degree in Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute. She worked for the Imperial Knife Company, Providence RI designing housewares for their international division.
After she left accounting, Wendy studied memoir writing at Lexington Adult Education classes. She was the major writer for SCDWiki.net, the major website that assists persons following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet in mitigating the symptoms and suffering from GI diseases. She served as a director of Mittersill Alpine Resort in New Hampshire for over 16 years, was the treasurer of Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci's campaign fund, and was a member of the Lexington Town Meeting in her precinct, for six years. She currently runs a ping pong group for seniors at the Lexington Community Center.
Wendy is the author of Manny and Frances: An Extraordinary Couple, a biography of her parents' exceptional lives and her father's remarkable medical career, and a shorter version that focuses on the medical work, The Life Savers of World War II. Wendy is married to Dr. Robert Reasenberg, a physicist. They have a daughter, Suzanne, who is a dietitian at Emerson Hospital. Bob and Wendy live in Lexington, Massachusetts.
