Tamera Coyne-Beasley, MD, MPH, FAAP, FSAHM, has been voted president-elect of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), an international multidisciplinary organization committed to improving the physical and psychosocial health and well-being of all adolescents through advocacy, clinical care, health promotion, health service delivery, professional development and research. - NCNC awarded PCORI grant for pragmatic asthma trial
The North Carolina Network Consortium (NCNC), a consortium of practice based research networks in NC in partnership with NC TraCS and the Sheps Center, is participating in a large, pragmatic clinical trial – Patient Empowered Strategy to Reduce Asthma Morbidity in Highly Impacted Populations – recently funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
