The Godfrey M. Hochbaum Distinguished Lecture was established in 1988 to honor Godfrey M. Hochbaum, PhD, paying tribute to his innovation and creativity and recognizing his enduring contributions to the field of health behavior and health education and to the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
