Minority Student Caucus History Project at the Health Sciences LibraryThis project was carried out during the first decade of the 21st century through a collaboration between the Health Sciences Library (Diane McKenzie, Fran Allegri, and others) and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health (Stephen Couch, Martha Monnett, Victor Schoenbach, and others). A key contributor was SPH alumna and MSC past president Victoria Motley Washington, who provided several albums of photographs from the late 1970s/early 1980s. The photographs were digitized by HSL and posted on an open website (presumably the current location). A generous donation from William T. Small, Jr. made possible the curation and digitization of the collection, which also included several boxes of materials that had been stored in the basement of Rosenau Hall.
