Bill Jenkins and Vic Schoenbach recount some of the history of the Minority Student Caucus and the annual Minority Health Conference

These short videos were created by the Health Sciences Library by combining photographs from Victoria Motley Washington's albums with audio clips from a cellphone recording that Victor Schoenbach made at the September 6, 2012 Minority Health Conference Planning Committee meeting (led by Chassidy Hanley and Adrienne Gill). • Bill recounts the origins of the "survival committee"
  (titled "Bill Jenkins Speaks on the Early Years of the Minority Health Conference; Pt. 1") The "survival committee" was a weekly help session that Bill Jenkins and Jim Murrell organized to assist students who were having difficulty with their required introductory Biostatistics and/or Epidemiology courses. Bill and Jim reminisced about the activity when they got together in 2018 (and Vic brought an actual videocamera and tripod for the occasion!)
