Was originally the Committee on Minority Affairs, created as an ad hoc committee in 1991; several years later it was made a permanent committee. Several years after that it was renamed the Minority Affairs Committee, and at the September 2024 Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors approved the committee's request to be named the
Equity and Inclusion Committee.
