- American College of Epidemiology
The American College of Epidemiology is a professional organization of epidemiologists that serves the interests of its members through sponsorship of scientific meetings, publications and educational activities, recognizing outstanding contributions to the field and advocating for issues pertinent to epidemiology.
- APHA Epidemiology Section
The Epidemiology Section fosters epidemiologic research and science-based public health practice and serves as a conduit between the epidemiologic research community and users of scientific information for the development, implementation and evaluation of policies affecting the public's health.
- Congress of Epidemiology
In 2001 (Toronto), 2006 (Seattle), 2011 (Montreal), and 2016 (Miami), a large number of epidemiology organizations combined their annual scientific conferences into a Congress of Epidemiology. The first three congresses combined organizations in North America; the fourth was expanded to include Central and South America. A separate World Congress of Epidemiology has been organized by the International Epidemiological Association (IEA).
