32nd Annual Minority Health Conference - Partner Conferences sharing the

13th Annual William T. Small, Jr. Keynote Lecture

The following student organizations have organized their own events for February 25, 2011 in conjunction with the 32nd Annual Minority Health Conference and will share the Internet broadcast of the Keynote Lecture by Bonnie M. Duran, DrPH:

  • Black Public Health Student Network (BPHSN) at George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services will host their 2nd Annual Minority Health Conference.

  • Minority Students for the Advancement of Public Health (MSAPH) at the University of Illinois, Chicago are holding their 3rd Annual University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) School of Public Health Minority Health in the Midwest Conference, “The Promise of Health Equity: Advancing the Discussion to Eliminate Disparities in the 21st Century” The conference will share the Keynote broadcast and have additional presentations (including submitted abstracts) and discussion. We featured nearly 50 oral and poster presentations from across the Midwest region to advance the discussion of health inequities in the Midwest.", 10/25/2011 email)

  • Society of Young Black Public Health Professionals (SYBPHP) at Tulane University School of Public Health will have a live viewing of the Keynote by Dr. Duran.

  • Students of Color for Public Health (SCPH) at UCLA will be receiving the webcast of Dr. Bonnie Duran's keynote lecture for the 32nd Annual Minority Health Conference.

  • Black Student Health Organization (BSHO) at the Harvard School of Public Health will host a student-led discussion following the broadcast of Dr. Bonnie Duran's keynote lecture. (Location: Kresge G3, 677 Huntington Avenue, Boston, 02215). Information from Sabra Lewsey.
