Miscellaneous VI. Next Meeting	Clarification needed on getting Dr. Frierson credentials. Bev Holt inquired if MHC brochure had been posted to the web. Kacey Hanson reported that the following items are priorities: 1) posting the brochure to a variety of websites, 2) send out mass emails re: the conference, 3) posting MHC flyers around campus Barbara Chavious presented the final version of the conference brochure which has been sent out. Vic will report on this at the next meeting. Chandra Ford reported that most of the speakers have been verbally confirmed. Tammy Stark has offered to be available to provide funding suggestions for interested conference participants – this will be an extra session and there is office space available to us at the Friday Center. To date only one abstract has been submitted. Jim Thrasher suggested that in future conferences a prize for the best abstract should be offered. Email may need to be resent due to end of semester also flyers should be hung or distributed. REACH will be revamped this year. Aundra is working with students to take the School of Public Health informational “on the road.” Aundra and students will present an interactive program to high school, college and other students. Epi department has donated $500, HPAA has donated $300 for the conference efforts. Barbara Chavious suggested that committee should use a scantron evaluation tool instead of only paper. She will be meeting with the OCE evaluation contact to see if this is feasible. Maceo Thomas asked that a student/s work with Barbara as an evaluation team. January 23, 2002 location to be announced.	Information has been received Publicity efforts ongoing Speaker committee will continue to work with OCE on sending out written confirmations Co-chairs will follow up with committee chairs. Kacey Hansen offered to assist with the distribution of publicity for abstracts. Committee will report at next conference. The program is still underdevelopment and Aundra is still in need of additional student participation. Committee continues to follow up with organizations and departments.	Publicity Committee V.
