 Workshop procedures

Free workshops

Where possible the College will sponsor one or more free pre-conference workshop(s). The maximum amount of funds available for workshop expenses will be determined in advance by the Board of Directors, and no commitments of expenditures should be made before that amount has been communicated in writing. Funding from the College is intended to cover the cost of the room where the workshop is held, audio-visual needs, food and beverage breaks, printed materials, and instructor expenses if required. Since College funds are limited, workshop organizers should endeavor to conserve College unds by minimizing expenses and by seeking external sponsors to pay for these important activities. ACE members organizing and conducting these activities are not eligible for expense reimbursements and are expected to register for the conference. Non-ACE Members can be reimbursed for one night of hotel accommodation plus other moderate expenses related to their travel. Requests for expense reimbursements must be submitted in writing, with appropriate documentation, within 30 days of the workshop(s) to the ACE Executive Director."
